A tough initial draw against a good Necro team that played aggressive and well throughout the game.

The first half, the wolves jumped on us with a blitz and put pressure on the ball, we recovered, but the wolves went for it all with a fireball that used up our apoth on Evan and popped the ball free. Our Chaos Warriors were about to control the melee however, and we recovered and came away with the ball. After those early frantic turns, we took control with the help of good dice to dominate the half and go into halftime up 1-0.

The second half, the necro quickly pushed along the one sideline - however, Luna dodges through the defense and took down the ghoul sending the ball into the stands. A throw-in favored us and we did not let the necro recover. We were unable to score another TD thanks to some zombie magic.

Overall, the early pressure and fireball were a bid to take the early advantage and the dice did not help as the gamble failed and we were about to control the game. Solid fun game. Thanks!”
