The first half was a barn burner as Chumblade showed up with a new chainsaw and proceeded to chop through the Guardians, first hurting our talisman Harle Quarrybullion before also hurting one of the better blockers. That was the apothecary gone for us. Still, there was *just* enough pressure that Coach Azure ordered the score with a couple of turns to spare. It turned out to be enough for Pitcutter to score as the super star runner took advantage of a high kick, but not before Bomber Eziasson threw a killer bomb at the feet of Demoncutter, killing the star blitzer.

Tiny Steel Hammers, unusually coming into a game as underdogs, were really playing to their potential, but it didn't last. The second half became another hurtful one for the famous team, already struggling to rebuild, as Goodpacer's boot injured another couple of skilled blockers including fan favourite Jammin' James. The apothecary failed to help when called upon by Coach Azure. Hard times for the Hammers as they were powerless to stop the winning touchdown even though a few chances were needlessly given for the ball to be knocked loose, but by now the famous dwarves were not able to deliver like they had earlier in the match.

Good game, but expensive for both teams.”
