#12 Starkadhr Bjornolf – Broken Ribs (MNG)
The Order of the Snow King 1-1 Kärsämäki Critters

The third match of the second season saw The Order looking to extend their two game winning streak against the Frozen Sea Conference's defending champions: a rotten group of nurglers known as the Kärsämäki Critters.
The Critters' 4/1/0 record was the best in the entire NSL last season and their defence was the stuff of legend.

The nurgs kicked the ball high into the air and when it came down it went straight through Balmung's head. After that the dice fell in favour of The Order and with a few timely surfs and stuns they made it to the end zone.
The moments either side of half-time were a turning point with the Critters fouling a serious injury, scoring a ko that didn't return and seeing another dwarf stoned off the pitch. Three men up an equaliser was practically assured.
Short-handed, as well as short-legged, the dwarves waited for the perfect moment and unleased their 12th man, Gandolf. His fireball knocked over three nurglers, including the ball carrier, but the Critters recovered quickly. The ball carrier was sacked again but the crowd played their part again, tossing the ball at the feet of the pestigor in scoring range. All that remained was for The Order to snake a few more rolls and the draw was in the books.

No skills, a MNG and a chance at a win gone begging. The Order need to regroup mentally and physically as they prepare for the last two conference games.
