Our final game was a rain of tears, saying goodbye to the Glamour Rammers, first season and last they'll appear in the SWL. Why? Because goblins, and that's all you need to know.

Finally we received once more, Anarchy unleashed as is right and proper. Unfortunately a wall of bodies left him out of the usual protection, and Iggy Pop promptly did a number on him, Pow.

Feeling a little under pressure, Kickbacks popped it up to Thieving, now feeling courageous with his newly fractured skull, says he's lost all his fear. They struggled with the scatter, and Corruption was paying attention for once, good troll. Kickbacks swept it up and ran. Next scatter they did recover, Kickbacks properly injuring their one chance of easy pickups in response. Good lad!

We did what we could to crowd the ball, waiting for Kickbacks to recover. They did the same, but a pass was on, and it was ... intercepted! Bastards. Zoe Bowie stealing our shot to bring on the weapons early. Corruption now seen off.

Bribery tried to show him the appreciation of the crowd, and eventually did, but all too late as the half fumbled away in the wet.

Their half, rain persisting, we took the Blitz! option, Intimidation tried on Iggy Pop, and was he ever, throwing it strait up and failing the juggle, sending himself and a team-mate off, and three more to the ground! Glorious!

Kickbacks up in it again, the only one on the pitch able to handle well in this weather, and didn't he! Caught a scatter in heavy traffic, and then away with Bribery clearing traffic.

Unfortunately, we forgot to run it in. They came back, bribery couldn't Break this time, and then it was too well guarded even for the agile one. They eventually gathered, but we cleaned up any chance of them scoring, Dirty Pool keeping it that way, and the second half fumbled out like the first.

Damp squib, right mess, little skill from anyone but Iggy Pop and that in self-destruction. Oddly the fans loved it. Perhaps that's what they want from goblins, useless rubbish, so long as you're having fun with it.
