“Yet another brutal match played by the Gnashville Goobers took place today. It was the first round of the Pre-Season Cup Qualifiers, so it was a pretty important match. The Goobers actually started off quite strong, despite Scrappa Sorehead being knocked out almost immediately. They got the ball far down the field, and tried to work it over to the endzone, but the Northampton Demons played good defense and stopped the Goobers from scoring.

The second half then came along, and every hope of the Goobers succeeding just perished. In the early moments, Fargen D'Fogan, cousin of the troll Shurmnar D'Fogan was hit by a fatal blow from Gary. Scrappa Sorehead was also knocked out almost immediately yet again. The Goobers were left helpless and were easily scored on.

With the time ticking away, The Goobers met their defeat after an unsuccessful last ditch effort to tie.
