First game of Grotty Little Tournament 2016.
############################################

The Horde had signed up for the Old teams quialifier. They figured old teams don't run too fast..

Anyway, our two n00b blitzers were suddenly facing a legendary team. A team that had far more won games that the Horde has even played in total!

But luckily, it's not decided by the number of games. It was time to play some bloodbowl!

First half
##########

The Orcs got the attack, and slowly but constantly moving the ball forward. No hurry in scoring. The elves even managed to knock it out of our hands at one point but there was no panic. But suddenly, it was turn 8. The rookie blitzer Bstinn could not shake a blodger sidestepper elf of his rear. A 3+ dodge was the only option to score. No rerolls. All at stake! The players were not impressed with their coach there and then. Luckily Bstinn demonstrated why he is on this team and made the dodge for a 1-0. Crowd went wild.

Defensive setup followed, as the elfs, though old, still had some speed to score a one turner. At kickoff, the crowd went even more wild and started RIOTING. The ref confused as they are, suddenly pulled back the klock and gave the elfs two turns to score.

Luckily, the age of the elves seemed to have struck the elves on their agility seems like. And they failed a quite simple dodge with reroll. First half ended 1 - 0 for the Horde.

Second half
###########

The orcs were on the defense now. Crowd still hadn't calmed down and were still rioting. Then the judges suddenly got the clock right again and moving the game into turn #2 at kickoff.

A risky kick gave the elves the oportunity to rush forward on one side covering up really good. The orcs didn't mind but then realized that the elves were playing with them. Turning the game left and right deep in on the Hordes playfield but refusing to score.

This drove the orcs mad. And desperately they tried to smack the elves. But all that dodge was getting put to use. And there was no way to reach the ball. Then Pershun stepped forward and with his agility and luck managed to one dice block, after some hairy dodging. And behold, clean POW on the blodger elf.

The elves were schocked, and eventhough they managed to pick up the ball in a fairly crowded place they could not dodge way for the equilizer.

Pershun then continued to demonstrate his skill and easily passed the ball out of the reach of the overcommited elves and the game was won there and then.

Great start, we thank KFoged for the honor of playing.
