“Down 2 to 1, late in the second half, Ampleshade Fruitgusher taunts the rat ogre into blitzing her. Her trap was successful at the wild animal blitzes and gives her an added push down the field.

Meanwhile, deep in his own end Chi Z. Poofs lures in a couple of gutter runner. As they clutch at his feet, he slips past them and heads up field. Chi spots Ampleshade just as she's breaking free of the rat ogre end launches the ball downfield with all his might. A gust of win sends the ball sailing into the crowd. A hobbit fan catches the ball and sends it straight towards everyone's favourite ent.

Ampleshade disposes of a couple of ratmen as she sprints towards the End Zone for her tasty dessert, but then has second thoughts, "Is it fair that Blood Bowl's most famous ent wide receiver score after such direct fan intervention?" She takes root to ponder this ethical dilemma right on the goal line.

Meanwhile, Chi Z. Poofs continues his mad dash towards Ampleshade in a desperate attempt to convince him to take the final few steps to the end zone but trips on her deep roots as he was screaming, "Tasty Desserts! You can't sacrifice a Tasty Dessert for ethical reasons!".

A nasty gutter runner hears Chi's wise words and decides it's time to kick him while he's down and shut up that hobbit for good. But the dastardly sewer dweller gets his just desserts as he trips and falls before he can execute his sour plans.

Chi realizes it's no use to argue with the stubborn ent and pops to his feet, smashes the storm vermin who was blocking his way to the end zone into the clamoring fans and yells to Ampleshade, "You aren't just the world's greatest ent receiver, you are also the world's greatest ent quarterback! It's time to prove it."

Amplehsade can't argue with that logic and expertly hands the ball over to Chi for the tying score. And the fans go wild!”
