The Techies of Karak were able to play a good defensive game (unlike last game vs TCU) and hold the potent offense of UCon to just 1 TD. Fortunately, our offense was able to plod in for a tying TD as time expired. Still, the freshman continued to play like they had never seen a Blood Bowl pitch before.
1st half Karak played a decent defense, keeping the Huskies from advancing much. Hired gun, Boomer Eziasson, was ineffective--getting 2 bombs off with no results before being seriously injured. The defense eventually broke down and the speedy UCon players were able to break through and score.
There was an extended halftime as the KAMU band wouldn't leave the pitch
2nd half saw the A&M Techies slowly march forward with the ball, seemingly unconcerned about the clock. With so many inexperienced players, coach Xeterog was unwilling (it seemed) to take many chances. This payed off when Flash scored as time expired.
