Unfortunately - or fortunately for me - they could not keep the lead by half time as I got away with profligate early use of rerolls and avoided bad dice once they were all gone.

It was only 1 team scoring casualties or knock outs or even breaking armour. That made the 2nd half very 1 sided and the only surprise was that 2 tomb guardians remained standing amid the bloodshed. Nothing permanent but it made for a spectacle that only the home fans could appreciate.
