“The Raiders faced an Undead side without Wights or Ghouls but they do have strong skeles! We were hoping to give them the runaround, though we scored our first TD a little bit quickly after receiving a short kick with a rookie Gutter. In response the Meatbags had plenty of time and their Sure Hands Skel picked up after another short kick. Ritz managed a ko but our Rats were struggling to dodge about and Snutz Bolo, our main GR, was ko'd from the field by a Blackle zombie. Ritz then tripped up when he had a chance to blitz the carrier. Headcrusher managed to put himself near the carrier before half-time but was blitzed aside as the Undead got their equalizer. A linerat was also saved from death after a heavy block.

Second half we rushed forward after their skele carrier picked up. From here there was a lot of fun as the Undead struggled to get him safe in their half. But we just could not score! Headcrusher downed the carrier and Zloos got the ball. He then stood up to two hits. Headcrusher only needed to blitz one skele to the side to make easy dodging space for Zloos. But double skulls loner fail! The Rogre let us down. Zloos was downed. But the skeles fumbled and Headcrusher ko'd a player next to the ball. Zloos had a chance, dodged, and then in 1 tackle zone fumbled the ball! After another linerat tripped up soon after it seemed our chances were gone. But Headcrusher and Ritz determinedly got at the carrier. Headcrusher hit Bleachy and cas'd him! Zloos then only had to dodge, pick up the ball in space and gfi for a winner! But snaked the dodge. Incredible. The Undead retrieved the ball and were cas'ing rats (a rookie Mummy had caused 3) but still in their side of the pitch so it ended 1-1.

The Raiders coach goes off cursing his side's inability to finish off a 2nd TD, but at least no rats were permanently harmed.”
