#2 Demario Davis – Smashed Collar Bone (-ST)
#10 Jeris Pendleton – Dead (RIP)
#16 Michael Egnew – Dead (RIP)
It seems fitting in the current Scimitars run of form, that with a gargantuan performance, Demario Davis, would not only win the MVP for the game but also have to retire after his luck ran out. Nonetheless, he goes out on a high, putting in a 9.3/10 effort in this fourth consecutive loss.

Demario contributed 3 sacks and 3 forced fumbles, putting two Universe players into the KO box for immediate treatment. His presence was about the only thing keeping the Scimitars in the game. Unfortunately he fell prone to his own avarice when he couldnt put Stanley Jean-Baptiste down and break away for the tying score in the second half. He left himself within inches of the crowd and was pushed into the mosh in the next turn. The crowd didn't much care for him and Demario suffered a serious injury, cutting his Scimitars career short. He leaves the league as the first Scimitars player to win two of the Larsson awards and kept the tradition of it being won by first year players.

The Scimitars will miss Davis but will have to turn to the likes of Acho, who also had a good game, contributing a key sack/fumble. Thrower, Chad Pennington will likely have better days but his performance of recent typifies the team's sloppy play. His lowly 3.35 out of 10 shows his inability to make plays where he normally should be more than capable. Players like him need to turn in good performances or the rest of the team suffers.
