“Travelling South to Tilea for the toughest match remaining before the break, our team is still struggling to find back to their form. We desperately need points, but do not believe that a well-rounded Wreckers team is going to make it easy for us. We will need to split their defenses, spread out the play and fight them one-on-one, or their guard skills will break us down. Both squads are full, so no advantage to any team there.

It's raining in Monte Castello on game day, and the Wreckers have a huge advantage in fans. Apparently, Monte Castello is far away for Cascade fans to travel to. We win the coin toss and choose to receive. Their kick is excellent, bu we are in no hurry, and sends Anders after the ball as the others start clearing the right flank attack. Miller stops that with a good tackle on Turbin that sends him off badly hurt, and Cascade changes side. This requires abit of dodging which the squad pulls off, and Anders picks up the ball and completes the short pass to Rannveig who will be the ballcarrier. It is slow going though as Wreckers swarm around and can use guard to support each other. We try to break away, but a failed Dodge by Dennis allows van Hoosengold to sack Rannveig, and the ball is caught by Silatolu. Cascade players are Down and stunned all over the Field, and a desperate blitz by Hughes does not take down Silatolu. The ball is moved out of range and a bitter melee develops around midfield where van Hoosengold and Manning of the Wreckers is KO'd, and Ballard and Gräbner of the Cascade are badly hurt. In the end, Silatolu hands off to Camo who scores the defensive TD. 1-0 Wreckers.

It doesnot look good for Cascade before second half. We are down two blitzers and a guard lineman, while only Hoosengold is Ko'd for the Wreckers. Extraordinary effort is needed to get a draw, but Wreckers strength is to Box up and utilise their guards to advance slowly...

We are given a small chance, though, when Hoffnung can't pick up the deep kick. Althoff clears the path by stunning Adams and Crazy Crawford and Rannveig runs through the breach. Camo runs down to help and picks up the ball, but we continue to put presure as Althoff KO's back up quarterback Mallett. wreckers does not break right as expected, but instead tries an inside sneak on their left flank, With Adams stunning Althoff on a foul. Hughes, Rannveig and Crazy Crawford boxes Camo in around the midline, and stops the advance when Hughes stuns Jim Tyrone. Camo breaks away and around the melee, but is now totally unprotected.

We have one chance to get him, and Manfred is the man for the job. He blitzes Camo, and strips the ball from him. Unfortunately, it lands just beside instead of in the stands. Rannveig helps him with boxing Camo in, but Loney comes up from behind and blitzes Rannveig onto the ball, With Camo grabbing the bouncing ball. Unfortunately for the Wreckers, he fails the leap and Manfred brings him crashing to the ground, stunned. The ball is free and picked up by Anders. He runs it across the midline, and tries the handover to Latimer, who is in a scoring position. The handover fails, however, as the rain has made the ball very slick. Wreckers comes from all sides to help out in an increasingly large melee around the loose ball, where just about everyone on the field partakes. Althoff seriously injures Hoffnung (broken ribs) and Manfred manages to grab the loose ball, but in the end, he is toppled and the ball bounces into the hands of... Althoff... An elaborate chainpush and lots of Luck could maybe have given the TD to Crazy Crawford in the end, but Althoff cuts the crap and piles upon Jim Taylor, smashing his knee instead.

Another bitter defeat for Cascade, who has one point in the last four matches... Wreckers played well, and could have won 2-0 if not for an unlucky leap by Camo. The Cascade players were sluggish in the first half, but showed some spirit in the second when Hoffnung's failure to pick up the ball opened up the game and gave Cascade a chance to play more one-on-one. Althoff played excellent in the second half (2 Serious injuries and a key KO), and the team had a chance to score when Latimer failed catching the hand-over, but it wasn't meant to be.
