“The Seekers' run came to an end, after being beaten to a pulp by "elfs". 8 KO's and at least 1 casualty did them in. 4 of those in the first 2 turns. Still, one glimpse of Nuffle's favour almost had the Seekers come back from 1-0, a Blitz and an "elf" catcher with ball one square away from the end zone, only to heroball all the way back to a few squares from the "elves'" end zone. Alas, two successful blitzes prevented the miracle. That, and a very greedy ref that took two bags of gold after the first two turns. Basterd. Anyway, A place at the final 4 is not too shabby for their first season. On to the next one. ”
