#7 Nigel Bradham – Dead (RIP)
TV difference was massive in this game. Opponent had limited threats and the main focus was on taking them out in order to prevent injury.
However, a large roster meant replacements would keep coming regardless of what would happen.

Limited ball cover would allow me to persue the opponent more aggressively and the openings helped to divert attention from other key players.

In half 2 I devised a plan to use my piling on player to agreesively charge into the other half but I was worried about him being fouled. In order to prevent that I tagged the DP with Stanley Jean Baptiste. But immediately realized after that that it was easy enough for opponent to blitz baptiste and to still foul my PO without problems.
I ended up having to change my plans but left Baptiste exposed, which later turned out to be my biggest mistake in the game.

My opponent fully embraced the possibility to get at one of my players and rather than try anything to go after the ball fully embraced a hard knock on Baptiste.
The end result was a mere MNG and Special was taunting me not to apo. Baptiste was not the most critical piece to beat Andras but he could've been a decent deterrent from more important players. I didn't feel like giving anything up and regardless of the threats odds were if my opponent wanted to engage in a hitting war I'd be the one winning out.
I took the risk and healed Baptiste in the hope to be able to field a full team but in the aftermath failed to fully disable his piling on. In one case I miscounted the squares to lock my opponent in. In a couple of others my fouls utterly failed and when I tried to foul with my Ogre, he boneheaded.
I ended up having several players exposed to the Piling On and Special consequentially made the necessary rolls to put in some hits.
Exposure of the ball had me forced to divert some of my attention to the ball further exposing me and ultimately Nigel Bradham paid the price.
Although the loss itself isn't that tragic there is no question that he could've been a valuable, probably more valuable asset against Andras than Baptiste.

In the last minutes some bad rolls almost led to tie and only Evans swift movement and hand off to the already exhausted Tim Brown prevented the worst. The price was Evans lying next to two opponent players and the now defeat coach encouraged by the fan cheering landed a final hit on the super catcher to no avail.

The real challenge is about to come in the next game. Will Flashfurt be able to survive?
