“NCBB season 26 game 5

Coach Xeterog buckles down and pulls a miracle tie out of the hat for this one. Still, the fans are not happy as the Techies of Karak have not won since the 1st game of the season.

1st half starts with a quick Irish score on a blitz. Left just enough time for SawOw! to get in for the score--though he had to work at it after Flash got taken down near the opposite sideline. (blitz, pick up ball in TZ, knock player down, gfi 1 or 2 times for the TD..RR used on the pick up).

2nd half sees Notre Dame stall for most of the half, but eventually score on turn 7, giving KAMU 2 turns to possibly score. With just one Runner on the pitch, it was going to be up to the blitzers to score if it was to happen. The Flying Irish knew just what play that Coach Xeterog had called for (perfect defense) and looked to have the dwarves of Karak bottled up. Tim was able to break free and sprint down filed, while Flash picked up the ball. Still, Elves being elves, they could not be tied down and surrounded Tim and put Flash in a TZ. The Karak U. coach calls for the desperation pass, Tim blitzes (-2db, gets the push) out of being surrounded, then dodges and sprints to the EZ while Flash dodges and gets just past the LOS for the long bomb to the waiting Tim for the tying TD.

Long Legs will miss the next game as well, though the apothecary managed to keep it at that (could have been a niggle)
