“We faced Necros here and in the first moments one Snotling was injured and two more were ko'd while a Wolf picked up. Soon after Les Kellett was badly hurt in a foul which the ref ignored. It was looking bad. It turned out to be a very comfortable stall for the Sylvania Butchers other than the serious moment when Jim Breaks smashed the superstar Wight's collar bone.

We had a little time that was extended due to a riot but a failed catch by Lucan meant not much happened. Second half Giant Haystacks hurled Lucan forward to get a TD back.

Rather than being a straightforward Necro winner a Ghoul decided to hand off to a Wolf and it was dropped. Little Shane was able to pick it up for the Wrestlers. Big Daddy was badly hurt and so was Shane but the ball scattered to The Bulldog to leave us a chance. He ko'd one zombie and moved away from the main crowd. Could he do heroics? Alas Bulldog was ko'd on a 1 dicer by a rookie zombie! With a few more successful equal strength hit successes the Necros had control back and got the winner. Though with a Block Golem also suffering a smashed collar bone near the end, from a Kendo hit, we at least didn't come out the wrong side of permanent damage suffered.
