“The understrength Plebeians took a couple of Babes along to help recover from damage against this tough looking Orc side. The first half wasn't pretty. It seemed we didn't have the power to take these guys on and were forced back. Their bashing got players off the field but at least they were KOs. The Orcs camped out in our corner and got 1-0 at half-time. It seemed very futile unless we were to do some surprise damage soon.

Second half our Catcher still wasn't recovered but at least a skilled Black Orc was suffering from Heat Exhaustion. The Smithy and the Butcher then cas'd 2 lineorcs between them in 2 turns! Their key Orc blitzer then brutally killed a loner but with the Smithy then seriously injuring another Blitzer things had turned around! After another KO caused and an Orc being badly hurt from a Dodge we decided to score to give the chance to push for a win.

With both sides missing one overheated player we were kicking with 9 players vs 3 Black Orcs and 2 Blitzers. The Orc blitzer ball carrier picked up and fled to the backfield. We had a chance to blitz him in T15 but a couple of 3+ dodges were required and Zebedee, the Catcher, failed the first. The Orc went into Black Orc cover. He was still blitzed down but as I had earlier moved our thrower back we weren't in position to get the ball in the final moments. The chance missed. 1-1 final score for our 4th draw in a row. Crazy 2nd half.

We still have 2 journeymen but at least are back up to a full compliment of Blitzers after we spent the winnings.”
