NCBB Season 28, game 2 OOC

KAMU continues with the quest to win 3+ games with another loss. Defense doesn't do well yet again.

1st half, the Techies manage to advance slowly up the pitch and score as time is running out. The Warrielfs try to quickly score, but the tripwire at the endzone works and we go to half time up 1-0

2nd half starts with the Karak fans celebrating upset the Hawaii fans who were still complaining about the failed TD...a Riot breaks out and the refs start the clock a little late. Karak defense can not stop Brownholtz from getting the ball down field and in for a TD. Then our offense is broken and again Brownholtz steps in and gets the ball down field for the winning TD. KAMU tried, but failed to get the ball in quickly for the tie.

Bash Brother learns mightyblow.

NCBB Opening Game, Season 28, OOC round.

Defense wasn't awful in 1st, but a failed GFI took away our chance to knock down an un-guarded Ray Quick by the end zone. 1-0 on his turn 8.

Last kick-off of first, I chain push it correctly, get the ball to the Catcher, he fails the final GFI going into the end zone on 3+, 3+, 2+ dodges. Still down 1-0.

Riot leads the 2nd half off. Brownholtz throws a bomb to Samson Anguay to become the new all-time passing leader in the NCBB, but he wasn't done. Another Long Pass to John Ursua (Anguay brought the ball to him) and a quick scamper in tied the game, and all the KO's return.

As the ball was progressing forward in mid-field, Boomer Eziassor threw a bomb that stunned Julian Gener in a tough spot, as he was now a road block. He also knocked down 2 Catchers, but also took down the MB/D Blitzer, ending his turn. Boys managed to get up, and put a hit on the Runner, knocking the ball free in a TZ that had two Dwarves.

Another small amount of jockeying bounced the ball into a TZ with only 1 dwarf. That was all Brownholz would need. Dodged in, picked it up, dodged out, threw a bomb to Ammon Barker, who flew down the sideline. He punched it in on t6 for a 2-1 lead.

The ball was coming back in a hurry, but in desperation, the rookie Runner had to advance with the ball and no protection, putting him in a position to score. Melvin Davis came to mark the Runner, and he was Blitzed down by a Wrestle Catcher, dropping the ball in between a pack of 3 Elves. Karak couldn't get another player into scoring position, finishing the game at 2-1.

Brownholz is now the all-time yardage leader, the all-time YPG leader (by over 2 yards per game), and 3rd in all-time completions in the NCBB. He is currently 6th all-time in all of FUMBBL League history, about 15 years behind Jeffro's Moot Dawg. He'll easily take over all-time leader in NCBB in Completions as early as next match (only needing 4), and needs 6 yards to move into 5th all-time in yardage.
