“Tough game for the Elves, who kicked in the first half and saw the greenskins do a comfortable touchdown at the end of their 8th turn. The fans, possibly outraged by the death of Brawny Orc-like Bludgeoner under the boot heel of Fedrick Fredreley, started a riot right after the touchdown, and the referee turned the clock back and gave the elves a shot at equalizing.

Half the elvish team set up within scoring range, and waited for the orcs to mark them. Everything looked to be going their way--some setups, go-for-its, blocks, a hand-over, a pass.... the classic Elf Nonsense way. Then the receiver failed a 2+ dodge and tripped, and the first half was over.

Elves performed an easy 2-turn score in the second half, despite some uneasiness concerning the risk of having the orcs cage up and just walk the ball down the field for an easy 2-1 win. They bowed their pointy-eared heads and prayed for a blitz.... but none was forthcoming, and the game went exactly as they had feared.

Game was played in good cheer. Friendly opponent, well played Orc vs Elf game, and another brick in the wall that is the High Elf grid line for the elf coach!”
