“The game played out about as well as could be expected for the bashy but clumsy chaos dwarves. The High elves weren't "high" enough and managed to steal the ball away and score many times, while the Pounders spent most of their energy trying to beat the pointy-eared pot-smokers into the pitch... elves gotta be elves, dwarves gotta be dwarves.

The Pounders won the blocking game convincingly, 57-20.... and the fouling game 7-0.... and still managed to lose 0-3. Still, no permanent damage was done to either team--the only MNG inflicted on the chaos dwarves was from a failed dodge.

Friendly game, friendly opponent.

And after the game, a hobgoblin rookie got +ST (!)”
