“Tough going up against a Khemri team. The elves kicked to the mummyfolk in the first half, and pressured them to score around turn 4. Then they set up to do some elf-balling and getting the ball in for a comfortable equalizer.

Nuffle wanted something else... and granted the Khemri a Blitz which they used to mark up as many elves as possible... and the elves weren't having a very elfy day, failing dodges and many things which elves should be able to do in their sleep (catches, go-for-its, dodges). Eventually the Khemri coach did some Khelfball of his own, snatching up the ball, running it for a hand-off and then scoring with a single GFI!

Elves did an easy 2-turn score in the second, then were in a hurry to equalize. All that pressure around the ball opened up possibilities for the Khemri to start bashing heads... and the elves lost not one but TWO 110 k players before the game was over, including Stripballer Dahlart and blitzer Frejla.

Well played by the Khemri coach, and shame on the elves for their poor imitation of elfball!

Oh... and the elves--bitter and broken--ganged up on star +MA tomb guardian Joe Greene near the end of the second half after they'd knocked him over, and fouled and killed him... only to see him laughing all the way to the reserves box when he regenerated!

Despite the two RIP's, game earned enough money and SPP that the coach was able to put together an 11-elf roster for the next game, including a new 3rd catcher.”
