Hard fought battle. We won only due to a snake dodge by his catcher in first half preventing the tieing TD, and a failed leap on turn 16.

Got some biffs and blams in, but not enough to tip ELF score to 400.

Rematch anytime, Doctor!

#5 Gustav Lindvall – Dead (RIP)
Another fun elf on elf game against fellow E.L.F. coach Arktoris. Lots of elfballing, two and three turn scores were the order of the day. Jordell was excellent but tripped on a leap and casualtied himself halfway through the first half.

I did a little better than last time at handling the sidestep and shadowing that was sprinkled over the high elf team (but last time I was playing frenzy-heavy Norse, which made blocking very difficult).

In the end, I wasted my final reroll and had only a long shot at a draw.

The treeman was great, getting 10 blocks and 2 casualties for his efforts. He skilled up after the game, and learned the art of the Multiple Block. Next singles skill will be Grab, next double probably Pro.

The blocking game was close, as might be expected with a high-scoring game between teams with roughly the same number of blocking and blodging players.

As in our previous encounters, the game was a good reminder of why I like playing elves! Be happy to play again!
