“A close game, had a great first half despite suffering a lot of removals. Stalled out 7 turns thanks to Veran's unique dump off ability.

Second Half was more grind and the attrition was incredibly one sided given the number of blocks was mostly the same (altho there was more tackle and mighty blow on the other side). Lack of whistle from the ref was a major factor in a lo of the removals as fouling was rampant. A late in the day attempt to ambush the ball carrier failed altho came closeish...

With 8 woodys v 10 zons, receiving the KO I was optimistic. But in my haste to kill it off in 2 turns and a failed rr'd 3+ i left the war dancer totally exposed and mostly out of options. I feel i could have been more patient really and committed fully at the very beginning of overtime. The likelihood of more removals made me want to hurry I guess. Anyhoo we lost the match and 3 players, but it was pretty epic... ”
