#1 Raasted – Dead (RIP) #3 Martin – Dead (RIP) #12 Morten Eggers – Smashed Knee (NI)
“In a wonderfully hard-fought elven grudge match things were going well for the Zulu boys up until that fateful moment when the half-time break ended and play commenced... or what passed for play at least.
Because what had so far been a rioting, angry mob of pointy-eared elves apparently (and for reasons not understandable to man) collectively decided to take matters into their own hands. What was before a pitch was now a battlefield, as "Revenge" spectactors proceeded to rip as many Zulu elves apart as possible... the result?
One very, very dead Zulu thrower... one seriously injured Lineelf and four flattened elves still left on the field.
Matters could hardly have gotten worse for the Zulu team, which (though managing to pull a TD out of thin air) lost another veteran player later in the match and also sustained more injuries. End results... 2 dead Zulu elves, 2 seriously injured and the "draw" result anything but.
But all in all.
Well-fought, well-played and exciting till the last minute.
Thanks to Moxy for this one, even though it cost me bitterly in blood (and elves) ”
