“I was thinking today that playing high TV Chaos is hard to get right - is it just a bunch of Claw MB smashing at each other, and the first one to blink and go the wrong way on some casualty rolls loses?
Then this match - opted to receive on the assumption I could do some damage. Couldn't do anything in the first half, apart from have Pythagore-us knocked out (don't worry, he came back for the second half... and got knocked out again). The Ginyu Force scored, and I was looking at this with total regret, seeing a 2-0 stomping on the cards.
Then in the second half, I bashed half LeroyBrown's team off the pitch, thought I'd be able to stall for a draw, lost the ball, rolled three GFIs to get close to the ball carrier, avoided dying in the face of more Claw, got the ball again, and somehow managed to survive the last blitz.
Friendly crowd who didn't beat up my Beastmen when they got surfed helped. Exactly 112 turns for each team - how strange is that?
Anyway, the Ginyu Force's next opponent probably owes me a beer for saving them from that terrifying minotaur. I go now to try to get my frazzled nerves back in order :-)”
