“alabama came out strong, feeling momentum on their side with ball state missing 2 key players from their team. they established early offensive dominance, covering the field and creating an opportunity for a first half td. Taulia attempted a pass down the middle to Julio Jones and fumbled it. ball state quickly jumped on the loose ball and gained possession in alabama's half. alabama scrambled to stop the score, only to be thwarted. the tide went into the half feeling low, blaming the quarterback.
they came out in the 2nd half, leaving the inefficient qb on the bench, the kicker did his part parking the ball in ball states end zone. the tide rushed down the field in an attempt to surround the humans in the corner of the end zone. a key block by the humans killed derrick henry, the apothecary did everything he could to revive the young star, but it was too late. RIP Derrick. you'll be missed!
the humans stalwart line held up and slowly pushed up the field with elves swarming them from all sides. a few key knock outs and stuns had the humans in the open field and scoring easily on the last turn of their drive.
taulia redeemed himself as he threw a dart to julio jones who managed to score, stopping the shut out.
