“The Legends choose to receive. Mockingjays' back is seriously injured from the start, putting the Maidens on the back foot. Half the Maidens gang up against Gorgog, to no avail as the Ogre stood back up and caused problems. Sarah Connor heads forward on her own to threaten the ball. Sarah Connor gets jumped and shoved to the sidelines, but she dodges out and Wrestles Anduin to the ground. A few Maiden KOs and a failed pickup forces Sarah to try and pass but to no avail. The Legends form a loose cage, but the persistent Sarah dives in and Wrestles the ball down again! The Legends try to clear the Maidens off the ball when the untrained Falstead knocks himself over. The Maidens clear the way for Irene Adler to scoop up the ball and rush for the touchdown line. 2 Legends rush to bring her down but Irene is still in range to score. As she goes to make the winning play...she is tripped up! Anduin>Arthas>Khadghar takes the ball across the entire pitch to score turn 8. 0-1.

All 3 KOs stay down. The Maidens try to Murder people, as their KOs should wake up and the Legends don't have a bench. Despite a Blitz, they KO Uther with a foul. 0-1.

All 3 KOs stay down AGAIN, AND Uther wakes up! Outnumbered 9-11, they have nowhere safe to move the ball and Magni Hurts Michonne so Anduin can steal the ball. Leeloo dives for Anduin and fails, and the Legends put every Maiden on the ground. They stay down for safety and the Legends score anyway. 0-2.

At this point the game is over, so the remaining Maidens stay away and form a wall while they practice passing. The Legends eventually break through and Uther scores on turn 8. 0-3.

MVP goes to Lorraine Broughton for being brave/stupid enough to be holding the ball turn 8.

Despite the horrendous loss, the passing training and MVP did wonders for the development of 4 Maidens. They are ready to bounce back next week!”
