“"Dirty Tricks in Middenheim" Rd2 Empire Regionals

A surprise win for the Swan Riders with a lot of background. First of all, it seems that there was a crisis in the Hammers between coach and the players of the Hammers. The coach ordered the player to abstain from the pre-game party that the Chef of the Swan Riders organised, but some of their players disobeyed. At the end Hammers could not hit the halflings hard during the game. That was good!

But the Middenheimers had also a very dirty trick in their sleeves. Before the first round "fans" of the White Wolf attacked relentlessly our Treeman Star #2 Drychaen. He did not even manage to enter the stadion, when he was injured from them. The loss was detrimental for the psychology of the Swan Riders during the first half, which we lost 1-0.

But during the second half, the exhausted and without concentration Hammers because of the last night heavy party and dinner became prey for the ferocious (so we say, so that somebody believe it) Halflings, who managed to score 2 TDs, both through Throw Team Mate tactics, and took the game. Temporarily, Swan Riders were 1st in the Empire Regionals, that is at least until the other teams play their games for the Round.
