A lot had been said about the new S.N.O.T. System for determining the outcome of games (more info available here) and how it would revolutionise & modernise CIBBL. It was something that legacy fans were crying out of, and the emerging markets wouldn't be able to resist.
It was of course fitting that the S.N.O.T. System was to be premiered in a match designing two of the great races of the game, none of these more niche 'secret' teams.
Prior to the game, there was only one major tactical decision to be made for the L.A.D.S; take a Bloodwiser Keg or give an opportunity to one of those dedicate fans on the sideline to join the team for the day.
Of course the latter choice was made given the recognition of the importance of inclusiveness within the S.N.O.T. System. Furthermore there's the old saying "A Snotling on the bench is worth two....errrr... somethings....uhhh..."
Kick Off
L.A.D.S. 16-12 Butchers
The first half was a tight tactical affair, both teams sizing each other up in the midfield. The Ogres snaffled the ball and went for a breakaway as time ticked on, but the L.A.D.S weren't "havin' any uv dat!".
A dynamic surf from Nipee pushed the ball into the crowd and (as to be expected) they aimed it towards Lump. Although it fell short, Uff swiped the ball from under the Punter's nose, snuck away and handed it off to Zum to sprint into the endzone.
Little could be done about the equaliser just before the break but the L.A.D.S. took a strong lead into the second half With both the Orca-Cola Roller and Cabalvision Sports Wagon available and up on numbers, was the game secure?

L.A.D.S. 17-13 Butchers
Second half started badly for the Ogres, suffering from Orca-Cola sugar crashes means 3 completely forgot what they were supposed to be doing. The Gap opened up for Hup to sneak in and had off to man of the moment Zum to run in a second for the L.A.D.S..
The remaining game was a bit of a scrappy affair, notable only for the death on Snotling hero Zum. He burned fast and bright and will be remembered by the many.
