#3 Durzum Trollbrother – Broken Neck (-AG)
#8 Dulfish Elfthar – Smashed Hand (MNG)
Things to improve on:

First half
On offence, 5 man pitch invasion. Didn't manage to hold on to the ball for more than a couple of turns, so what could I have done better?

On turn 3 I tried to push up to half way line and form a cage that relied on knocking down a mummy on 2 dice, this failed with reroll. I could have made a basic cage a few squares back from the LOS and lasted a bit longer. So I left opponent a cage based by a mummy, main note to remember, any chance of leaving a cage based by a mummy is a terrible plan! Ball sacked on next turn. Remainder of drive, looking for ways to punch space to force a score.

Lucky (3 turn) equaliser caused by quad skulls on turn 8. Seemed a decent attack, but highly unlikely to work without the quad skulls.

Failed to notice 3rd drive was still in first half.

Second half

Fairly deep kick, so went to pressure with 2 blitzers, aiming to try out side step nuisance making. Worked quite well, but maybe it was very risky as they had ST5, 3 guard and 3 mighty blow, so very capable of punching away the surrounding orcs. Probably lucky not to lose players. Side step was effective when basing ball carrier, took up a lot of resources to get rid of him. Single ghoul sent forward as scoring threat, I ignored it as it would be very hard to stop it, and probably risky to try to quick score with it. Managed a 1d into 2d on the ball, thanks to side step being left prone but basing ball. Eventually undead punched their way out and ghouls almost passed to score, they managed it following turn. Big mistake, should have attempted to pick up the ball (2+,3+ with reroll), instead I just based it. Summary, quite hard to surround developed Undead with Orcs without a high probability of a hole being punched clear for ghouls to escape through, or lots of players to be removed.

Equalised via an acceptable 2 turn attempt. Made use of sideline because of side step, the extra square forced a gfi in the blitz, which snaked into KO, so super lucky. Then very lucky throw and catch to score, very lucky to draw.

1. Side-stepping orcs are a pain in the ass. You expect it from elves but not the greenskins - most awkward :-).

2. I should probably have stalled one more turn first half to make the turn 8 score more unlikely (though not impossible, see turn 16 :-)).

3. When mummies fail to clear the pitch, need a better Plan B... got lucky with the ghouls sneaking out of the green scrum in 2nd half.

4. Fun game - lots to see here and the neutral fans went home happy.
