Let's not bury the ledes: Upon winning the largest tabletop tournament in North American history, Grue then proceeds to lose to that tournament's organizer for the first time in their historical individual matchups. *Hot damn, I was due! ;)
Great game, though. A couple coaching regrets on either side of the pitch that both coaches recognized rather soon after the fact... Nuffle farted in each of our faces with dice leading to fairly easy scores for both sides... and Second Season rules were totally in play with Grue leaping over prone piles of players and myself utilizing Defensive in key fashion. Overall, though... spectacular back-and-forth game that I had to coach my ASS off in order to score on the final turn without any rerolls left.
