#10 'Eadsnappa – Seriously Hurt (MNG)
An interesting game, but by all that is Holy I do hate the Orc.

It was a pleasure to play against a Grand Master. The Coach Java did open my eyes to what it is for good positioning, and good defence pressure.

He gives great advice of to make sure the safer moves are covered first. His set up of S4 on LOS does force me to do the same, and use my piece not with block for the 2DB. This forces a fail, and immense early pressure. Great move.

I am then easily turned over, stalled upon, and can find no way to be competitive. For this I do apologise, as I am unable to find a way to make the game interesting for my opposition.

Nuffle did give some gifts this game, but I was unable to capitalise on them. I will take Coach Java advice and return to 145 group for advices. The updates will be below.

Learnings:

1) Look to block, with the piece with block, wherever possible. Sometimes it is not, and risks must be taken. The master coach will force these risks. Be prepared.

2) More value must be added to use of re-roll early in drive to prevent potential snowball.

3) Sometimes you must press your luck. I had cowardice towards end of game, which Coach Java identified and exploited, to mae an easy score on me.

4) The power of the chain push, especially when double based. Coach Java does this in Grand Master style and opens my eyes to what is possible. Create the box, blitz the carrier out. Lovely.

OH! And he do keep one beast in MY backfield when I attack, I therefore must always keep two players back to protect cage. A good use of resources to deplete mine. I like it. Or hate it. I am not sure, haha.
