However, all 8 players turned up and the Squeakers thought they were in for a hard battle. It was not to be. The Squeakers quickly stole the ball and scored, killing the Ark's best player to start their defence. Luckily for the Ark, their shaman cast a heal spell and brought him back to life.
Unfortunately for the rest of the Ark, that spell exhausted him and he was unable to help the other 3 Ark players that died during the match, or their player who picked up his second injury.
Basically, the Squeakers stole the and scored 3 times in the first half, and also caused a casualty or two on their way to score after score.
The second half started off better for the Ark, who managed to hold back the Squeakers from scoring their 4th TD for quite some time. However, as soon as the Squeakers scored their 4th, they also scored their 5th after a blitz! Then to rub salt into the injury, shortly after the last kickoff for the match, Squeaker Rat Ogre blitzed the Ark ball carrier and the ball landed on him and he picked it up! He then dodged away from the Ark players, and blitzed his way through for the Squeakers 6th TD of the match. With his 6 casualties (including all 4 deaths), it was a surprise that the match announcers didn't give him the MVP award as well!

My poor opponent. The dice were totally with me today. He couldn't do much at all, twice having his Witch Elf have a 2 dice block I choose on the second block and getting either a skull or skull/pow. My armour and injury rolls were amazing, and once I started to remove his better players from the pitch, it made it very easy to carve up his backfield and sack his quarterback or ball carrier over and over again. Unfortunately, the Ark were to be retired after this game.
My condolences to a sporting coach who did not let the bad dice rolls turn him into a whining tosser like some other coaches I have played.”
