Nearing the end of the first half the Old Men have a strong force forging its way to the goal line and the well protected runner is just inches from the score. Avari screams as the top of his lungs ( reports say his girlfriend was watch... we know how that is) and leaps over a half dozen stumpy heads to the one place in the fray he can hope to do any good. With pointy eared fury he lands in the face of the runner and blows him to the ground!!! 'Walker' was so shocked and amazed he was helpless to resist. Pissed-Off Paul was true to form and screamed at him so loud he dared not show his face the rest of the game (BH). Despite this heroic display of elven might the shear number of dwarves in the area swept the ball up and walked it in.

During the second half the elves met with some bad luck and had the ball stolen from them 15 yards from the goal. While the Old Men began to take the loot and make a break for the other end of the field Avari remembers that his girlfriend is bringing her sister over tonight!! He dashes off with speed and grace, avoiding the intervening dwarves to repeat his impressive deed of the first half!

Unfortunately for Avari, Andrew 'Arthritis' got his joint pain from wrestling Black Orcs and was not going to let some tree hugging perv put him down. Avari found himself staring up at the sky unable to move a muscle. I am afraid that neither his girlfriend or her sister will be seeing him tonight in the hospital. Luckly he was only admitted for observation and should be fine.”
