#9 Mender – Dead (RIP)
“As Jinxed says, the game was very lopsided due to the virus.
Still funny though, mostly because of a nice opponent.
And I even got enough cash to replace Mender straight off, so my next opp had better watch out, the Faeries are looking for revenge now! :)

I did not even use the hired wizard...
A virus took out 3 of his players and I badly hurt two elves very early in the game. Add to this the tree whom missed the first half and mostly he could set up a mere 3 or 4 elves against a teeming mass of greenskins.
Despite this he could score once. When I failed to knock down the AG5 wardancer for the first time in the game (yeah; I WAS lucky) he could leap and dodge away and spurt to the endzone. A longbomb from his thrower rushing from the backfield -out of reach for me that first turn- sailed safely into his hands thus scoring 2-1.
After that nothing failed me when it mattered. His tree on the other hand double-skulled. When it rains it pours.
A major thanks to a very sporting opponent who remained cheerful (or at least could pretend rather nicely) throughout what he must have known as a lost match.
Even a failed apothecary seemed not to crush his high spirits.
