We now join Coach Brent Garripee's post game press conference live in progress:

Reporter Bretonnian Sun-Times: Coach, what is the mood of the team right now?

Coach: Well, I have never seen this team so happy. Everyone knows how big a win was for us to get, we all know how well we played today, and everyone knows that we have taken a huge step to being a great team.

Reporter Middenheim Gazette: Coach, coach, what was the key to today's win?

Coach: Simply put, execution of blocking. We got a little nervous when half the team suffered from heat exhaustion but we managed to get key blocks that let us take advantage of the Bombers' inability to pick up the ball. Karles got to the ball, we got a huge block to open the path to the endzone and Karles got it done. And then we had enough blocking to keep them contained and they really missed some opportunities to make things happen and we managed to capitalize again in the second half when He'urtmee scored. Overall we gave ourselves a chance to make them pay for their mistakes, and then we made them pay.

Reporter Imperial Post: How did the team's emotions evolve over the game?

Coach: Well, to be honest, we were pretty...what's the word...we were dreading our chances when four players missed the first drive because of the heat, but we got lucky in that the Bombers couldn't mount an attack and let me tell you, when Karles got the ball and scored, the team just went nuts. I mean it was like everyone had won the Bloodbowl. But we quickly locked back into the game and then, around turn 5 of the second half everyone kind of relaxed knowing that he had won it and it was like a weight had just been lifted off our backs. This team right now believes that they can win and that is a huge step from yesterday when we were hoping we could win.

Reporter Imperial Times-Union Daily: Was there anything about this game that you would have done differently? Any strategy changes or personnel changes?

Coach: Nothing strategy or personnel, no, though there was one play that I wish I had called differently. End of the first half Karles had the ball but I sent him in to the attack zone all alone when I should have sent He'urtmee, I believe was the one nearby, should have sent him along. Luckily it didn't kill anyone, but it was a missed scoring chance that I would do differently. [Pause] But take that to reflect on my opinion of this team's ability to win. We could have scored another TD today, and had I called the play correctly we would have scored on that one. But other than that we played pretty well. One more question?

Reporter Kislevian Gazette: Coach, it seemed like you were picking a specific team to play this time. Is that true and if so, what team are you looking for next time?

Coach: [Pause] Yes, I was looking to play a specific team. You have to understand that this team was 0-3, hadn't scored a TD, hadn't mounted any real offense, had played three games in which we were pushed around and muscled out. Our morale was low and I did not want the same thing to happen again. I looked for a team that wasn't as physical as the three teams we lost to, Amazon, Human, or Lizzy, so that we wouldn't get pummelled as easily. We needed, if not a win, than at least a score so I looked for a fast, light team and we found it. Now, this is early in the day, but I will probably go for another light team, maybe rated higher, before I try to beat the bruiser teams. But we will, we will challenge the bruiser teams, just not quite yet. We aren't ready yet. We took a huge step today, just not quite there. Thank you everyone.
