Yes, it was a game of extreme dice. Mully rolled nothing but double skulls and armour breaks, and I lost my poor block, +ma ghoul as a result from one of the heavy blows :(. In return, my flesh golems dodged like elves with +ag, but couldn't manage to really do anything useful anyway.

I scored easily enough in the first half, a quick 2-turn TD with my 10 ma wolf, despite taking about 10 minutes thinking how in the hell I was going to get through his two BG's, Saurus, and two or three guarders.

In return, I seemed to put up a strong enough defense with the 8-9 players i had left on the field at times, ably helped by his abilities at rolling double skulls, withering away all of his rrs by T6. He managed to get into some sort of scoring position in T7, which my dodging flesh golem made very difficult for him by sticking a tz on the ball. Despite my tackle around the place, his best ag being 3, the tackle zone on the ball and his lack of rrs, he managed to string together some very decent rolls on T8 and equalised, taking it to 1-1 at the break.

The second half was just a terribly difficult grind, my undermanned zombies and wights trying vainly to stop kroxes and ogres and sauruses from smashing my entire team off the board, a few successful 2d against blocks helping out my cause. I think he scored without too much difficulty this time however, leaving me just one turn to do as much as I could. Unfortunately my 10 ma wolf didn't wake up from KO, leaving me without so much as a quick snap hope to one-turn an equaliser.

Was an enjoyable enough match, and I wouldn't mind meeting him on more even terms someday when the dice smile more favourably upon all involved.

For some reason I had thought Dtah was a mean coach (despite being from Australia). But I figured a Div-U match was harmless enough to find out for sure.

Well, i must have him confused with some Euro dude cause he was fine to play with.

Onto the match -

My block dice sucked (as usual lately) with a personal best 7 sets of double skulls. Including a quad in 2nd half T2.

Must what the ladies managed to hit went down. Tha=e armor breaking was unreal and the wolf claws couldnt do more than stuns.

A nice ghoul was killed on a good hit and the wolf lost the STR on a foul. Typing "sorry" after fouling a wolf is pretty hyprocritical since the intent is to get him out of the game, so I just kept quiet.

Fouled the other wolf in the 2nd half to keep him from 1 turning me late.
But wolves and war dancers deserve to be fouled so i think Dtah understood that.

In the end, the armor breaks were too much and i was able to score late easily.

Good game - catch ya in ranked sometime.
