With few players on the team I was expecting a draw if not a loss.

Things to do:

1) You need to be making less one dice blocks.

Even though you'r less likely to fail than other races due to all over block skill, its usually better to workout assists and go for 2 dice.

You stand far more chance of getting me down and far less chance of hurting yourself.

2) When your opponents as bashed up as I was a cage is almost unstoppable.

Just make an X shaped box with the ball carryer at the center. Its a very safe formation that can move down the field with the ball in a place where I can't get to it.

Feel free to break off players and reform with others if at the beginning of your turn there are my players standing next to the members of the cage.

3) Three when I'm REALLY beaten up just stop me from moving.

I had about 4 players towards the end I reackon. In that case you could have positioned players eather side of each of mine and walked the ball in, like so:

Thats incredibly difficult to do anything about since I have to make a 4+ followed by a 3+ to do anything with the player.

4) Keep the time in mind

You could have had a chance to score in the firsh half (however unlikely) but you need to keep an eye on the clock to know when the half is going to end.

Think about where you want to be at what point in the game and go to it.

A plan that falls apart is still better than no plan.

5) Just small things really, like the thrower could have taken more of a part in the fights, since he had block and positionaing of players. Thats just stuff that has to be learned from experience though.

6) Err... dont kill my players. Its a good tactic! Really!
