“Ouch, what a return to fumbbl!

After a few weeks of beeing far to busy to get a game in I launch a desperate attempt to get a win and stay in faction 2.
1st block, one of my Sauri gets a niggle, apoth fails. Why do I get a bad feeling? =)

By turn 3 I got 2 brand new niggling injuries, one BH and the krox got KO´d. Seems my dear lizards forgot how to take a beating during my absence, ill surely kick the assistant coach that trained the team in my place! ;)

That about concluded the 1 st half with him strolling towards the TD zone. 1-0, with a trashed team, how to reach the goal of a win?

Well, the answer is luck, as it often do things even out in the end. I do a 2 turn TD at the start of 2nd half, followed by a lucky blitz that gets me possesion of the ball and by some more luck I manage to get a 2-1 lead.

So, how to keep the Orcs at bay for long enough? Well, the answer is you dont. =)
He does a nice 2 turn TD, leaving us at 2-2, an intense second half indeed.

It escalates into me rushing past his orcs and getting a 3-2 lead with just 2 turns left for him to score the equaliser!

He starts out with a spearhead of 3 blitzers in scoring position, and I put all my efforts into blitzing and covering them, leaving him with one option, the good old TTM.

The gobbo soars into the air, make a perfect landing and scores! A perfect ending for a game that kept surprising us =)

A really strange game. It was fun and intense, and took a lot of effort and luck to stay in the game.
