A tight game in the first period turned into a one sided demonstration of power by the Hellbringers after their fans killed the ref at the start of half time and the Chaos Dwarves blocked with extreme prejudice.

The Clan started in offence in the first half, but a coaching error allowed the Clan to score an easy TD (I said yes to using Pro to reroll a GFI that would allow a 2 dice Blitz on his guy most likely to score, when I wanted to use a Team Reroll.... how stupid is that LOL).

The Hellbringers stung by this ugly error then used a tight cage to force their way to a TD late in the first half, though the Clan did get a couple of chances to attack the ball carrier when the cage loosened to take advantage of stray High Elves that wanted a smack in the mouth.

The Hellbringers eventually leveled the scores late in the first period, whilst causing some serious pain to the Clan whilst doing so, by killing the Line Elf Mithrandir and seriously injuring the Dragon Warrior Ultrigar Ultierson in the process.

The second period opened with the Hellbringer fans killing the referee! The Hellbringers were initially looked like they would form a cage and advance the ball upfield slowly, but thanks to some powerful hitting a quick foul or three, they soon found there were few elves left on the pitch and stormed in a TD to take a 2-1 lead.

The Clan could only field 8 players vs the full Hellbringer lineup, and had problems penetrating into the Chaos Dwarf lineup and remaining free from tacklers whilst they fumbled around with the ball in the backfield.

The difficulty in getting free and fumbling in the backfield continued as Hellbringer Bull Centaur Kzakorag Stormfist blitzed straight down the middle of the pitch, knocking over the Clan's thrower Trey Bouchett II and picking up the ball just 5 paces from the endzone. Kzakorag then failed a breaking tackle attempt to score and lost the ball. Bouchett II recovered the ball temporarily, but had no one to throw it to, and meekly tossed it away as Kzakorag Stormfist crunched him a second time before scoring a TD to take the lead to 3-1.

With the game safely won, the Hellbringer team danced on the pitch and taunted their opponents, even allowing them to score a pointless TD whilst they jeered their humilated opponents.
------------------
It was a very close game up to half time, then I got the ref (I fouled 3 times for 2 stuns and a KO) and I started to get a lot of KOs and soon it was 11 vs 6 on the pitch. I pressed the advantage rather than stalling and securing a win and it paid off after my opponent continued to roll a lot of 1s at the wrong time.

Understandably, it was not the most enjoyable game for my opponent.
