“Bash D have defeated the hideous hypocrisites from Gumbeast United, and are now only one game away from the promised land of Premier division. The win was a costly one however, with fan favourite Byrock killed by a nondescript skeleton kick.

As expected, Gumbeast played directly against the passing game they pretend to espouse, taking down Bash D players left right and centre. Only Bash D's hopeless expectation of death allowed them to play on in the face of such an onslaught, but the Khemrians had hired the services of the Head Houngan of the Southern Wastes, who cast a glamour over the ko box that convinced knocked out players that they had in fact died. Despite this atrocity, a couple of players still decided to come back back for more, but many more were lost.

The game began with a lightning quick TD for bywoodies, who was able to score very early on against the kickoff. Gumbeast United then spent half of the first half grinding upfield for a TD. At this point, bywoodies managed to twice trip over and break his collarbone, and after the second time, the apothecary send him to Lord N'Sha early in disgust, administering the coup de grace with a blunt spatula.

There was little time left in the first half, but there was a glimmer of hope for Bash D. Driving down the right of the field, Bash D were able to put multiple players in scoring position, and Gumbeast Uniteds bloodthirstiness saw them kill byrock instead of defend against the passing game. This proved to be a big mistake as bythosedamnrats and byorcs combined for the deciding TD.

The glamour cast on the KO box meant things were looking grim for Bash D however, as they began the second half down men to the rampaging skeletal hordes. This was compunded when bythosedamnrats was sacked with the ball in the backfield. Somehow though, Bash D managed to scramble and get the ball to the right hand side of the pitch into the hands of ByPI and ByDP. Then it was Gumbeasts turn to scramble, and though they were able to prevent Bash D from scoring once more, they were not able to secure the ball and convert on the tying TD.”
