“'Amazing Races' Final

The Graves went into the final with a slight advantage! with tr/str and hoped to maximise this to the hilt. NMRO's managed to secure the fee to entice Nobbla to play in the final. Meanwhile rumour mongers were spreading some very 'bad press' about the Gravesprior to the KO.

The Graves opted to receive the kick and start the funeral march down the pitch, hopefully taking some of the NMRO's off field as they went.

The one of the Chaos fans had obviously been riled by the maligant rumours spread about the Graves and KO'd the Ghoul 'Petal' as the ball sailed 'deep' into the Graves endzone. Intially the Graves attack was thrown into a muddle by the ball going so deep as to which flank to charge down and opted to sit in the middle and see how the chaos guys came back at them. As it was all the players with any ball handling skill were sucked into a growing melee on the right, at the centre of this tussle was the vile creature Papa Rot, Nobbla obviously had a new drawstring on his chainsaw as the damn thing started first time but after that in the next two drives he failed to break armour twice but always managing to dodge away after. The break came in the 4th drive with all the chaos players trying to stop the main thrust of the drive being neutralised allowing the wight ball carrier 'Silage' to come in and hand off to noob ghoul 'Petal' who then ran deep into the NMRO's field well out of range of the opposition, also of note was the stunning out of Nobbla. The Graves went on to score in the 5th drive.

Allowing the NMRO's 4 turns to score, however nuffle wasn't looking and 2 beastman continued to snooze in the KO bin whilst the eagle eyed Ref spotted Nobbla and sent him packing! Allowing the Chaos just 8 players to start with and sadly they ran to the solid mass of undead but did managed to KO 3 of them but with all RR's burnt an unlucky GFI more or less finished any chance the NMRO had of score in the first half.

The start of the 2nd half saw both teams start with 10 players, the chaos drive ran the gauntlet only to be sniped away at, eventually letting St4 Wight 'Compo' to blitz the ball carrier, the ball was then carried to the relative safety of the opposite flank, with only the ghoul Deadflower ready to receive the ball, which he duely fluffed. In the ensuing scrap that followed the chaos managed to break free and try to switch their strength to the opposite side, this started well with the demise of Deadflower . Over the next few turns the Graves managed to secure the ball and finally get into the endzone on T15. to secure a 2-0 win.

Have thank Peikko for being an excellent coach to play against, he pulled off a feat in itself by reaching the final, as his team was severely mauled during the stages.
