“As always when facing Vampire teams I expected something of a freak match. Two things will make me remember this game, the first is my opponents amazing ability to get POWs on all those 1db’s, and the other is his ability to fail the same when it really mattered. A general lack of block on both teams combined with only two RR’s each of course made the blocking part rather straggling for both of us. Initially I got a Line Elf killed, but my apothecary took care of the damage, and after that the rest of the enraged team answered by starting to knock thralls and vamps out alike. A fatal 1db by a ghoul during the second half put the opposing team in a real awkward situation with the only two players really in range of my ball carrier was standing right next to him in a box, next to the sidelines. After that incident he was so outnumbered that there was very little that the remaining vamp and thralls could do.
Was a rather soft game though as no side suffered any permanent injuries and on top of all I rolled the most freakish skill rolls in the history of Blood Bowl. As I missed out on all skills last game I managed to accumulate four skill rolls. Dream of my luck when I roll, +AG, +AG, +AG and +MA. As the last was on a Line Elf and since I have no other skills I had to decline that +MA to get some more Block into the team.
