Didn't expect the dice to be so cruel though.... my first turn ended on a snake eyes GFI before I got to blitz, leaving the ball exposed. I managed to recover it and score, but that was pretty much the end of the game from there.

My opponent rolled pows galore or fouled my players into the casualty box repeatedly. Heck, he even had 70% luck late in the first half.

One of my handicaps was Get the Ref2, but my fouls were lame anyway, 1 stun out of about 6 compared to the carnage my opponent kept rolling.

All 3 of my KOd players stayed KOd at half time leaving me with 7 for the drive. Finally my opponent got his DPs sent off and I had one moment of glory when I dodged through with my AG4 Thrower and knocked the ball loose.

But that was it, and after my opponent scored, I failed both my KO rolls and had 6. Managed to squeeze out 2 completions.

A total farce, but it serves me right to play a team with 2 DPs and a few Mighty Blows with only 1 Mighty Blow myself.

Luckily I finished the game with no FF loss and no permanent injuries.”
