Death has a way of changing how we look at things. You might think it's sad to see an end to certain players you value, but the best interpretations we can give to it that Death is necessary for a fresh start.
It's never a good idea to be outnumbered by elves, if you have no real means of reducing their numbers quickly. That is what happened. I got struck by Morley's, and my best blitzer - Death - did not show up due to his niggle. Thus the 0-5.
