“The Terrors started in offence, and started off the game with a brutal block (ok, it was double skulls then rerolled) on Borgarpack emerging star Petrus af Hököga, smashing his collar bone (-1 STR) so badly that the magic sponge did not work (apoth failed).
The Terrors soon followed up with a blitz on their super star catcher Pär von Platen which injured the surprised fellow so badly that he will also miss the next game!
The Terrors ran the ball down the right hand side of the pitch and after drawing several Borgarpack players that way, swung the ball to the left of the pitch to Hobgoblin Zaplug Brainsplittle who scored late in the opening period.
The Borgarpack only had 10 players to start the second half and soon found themselves in trouble as the Terrors dominated them with their blocking. The Terrors stole the ball and scored a second TD for a one sided victory.
---------
A fun game for both of us despite the unlucky rolls for my opponent early, ie two SI on the first turn, with his apothecary failing. That took out both his +1 Strength players and as he had no Guard, it was easy for me to contain or pick off his players so that I had a numerical superiority on the pitch.
