First win in four for the Psychotics, and luck really turned things around for us.

Deep kicking followed by some great leaping from Jeran and Teddy gave us a 1-0 lead in the second turn. A Blitz! followed by more leaping and some ridiculously kind mulitple 2+ and 3+ rolls gave us a second by turn 4.

Pouring rain then conspired to really punish the Khemri, and they spent the next four turns trying to stop my aggressively offensive defence from adding a third.

The weather continued into the second half, with the Dark Elves receiving. We fooled the Khemrans into thinking we wanted the two-turn td, and forced them to repeatedly blitz Blodger Jeran. With the Kings lacking tackle, Jeran stayed on his feet more often than not, and even when he went down he was only ever a leap or dodge away from causing more trouble.

Multiple dodges from the other boys, and a nice pass from Darius to Kellogs saw the 7 man Psychotics switch play to the far side of the field - and the Elven movement advantage really counted here.

A long, slow TD was walked in by Kellogs after some more dodgine and a nice 2dblock.

The Dread Kings complete inability to pick-up the ball (still raining) condemned their final offense to the same fate as their earlier ones - and they crowded round the ball, trying to keep Jeran away. He was one square short of a td, but some nice pushing saw an audacious, reroll-less play to get the fourth - he failed his first GFI, but was looking at a 5+ dodge, 6+ pick-up, GFI and 2+ dodge, so it wasn't looking likely.

Too little, too late, the Kings were able to *finally* pick-up the ball, even completing a pass.

A nice tactical game which didn't see a single foul and caused no permanent injuries. Plorg pretty much had the match taken out of his hands, as Kick-Off rolls (I got Quick Snap, he got Blitz!), Nuffle and the Weather conspired to keep his undead boys from doing anything useful.

The Har Ganeth fans salute the insane dodging skills of their team, and curse niggled MVP-stealer Axeman John (who aged - again - on his second skill roll, is double-niggled, and now retired).
