#6 Gibbo Longinthearm – Dead (RIP)
“With star players Davros and 'Sleepy' Steve both missing the match due to niggling injuries, it was always going to be hard for the Carlton side, who historically struggle without their stars. Once again it was a bunch of rookies led by veteran captain Duke Snakefield and playmaker Adam Yardley to create something inspirational.
It was a close game and could easily have gone Carlton's way right up until the second touchdown for Beasts was slammed down close to the final siren.
Well coached by JoeKano, who's always great fun to play against! :)

Playing well on defence consistently across the entire two halves, this ProBowling veteran's moment came as he spoiled a crucial pass to the Duke which would otherwise have resulted in an easy score.

It's no surprise that this talented young goat is really starting to make a name for himself in the SWL. Big and strong, he's a dreamboat ballcarrier for any chaos lineup and played a great game today, not only bagging himself a touchdown, but also forging forward at the forefront of every assault.

Speaking about harsh was Coach Twahn's reaction to the death of Veteran player #6 Gibbo Longinthearm who once again continued the trend that suggests this is one of the most violent bloody premier seasons in a long while "Weell he wa a bit gimped anyway", a reference to his having lost some of his former agility.....

3 pts to #16 'Stoney' Dan. This redoubtable redoubt of a player held the line for his team all game. With his new pro attitude he was in there for almost the entire game, taking the big hits from Terius and making a general nuisance of himself and tying down a player or two who coulda done real work elsewhere.
2pts to #2 Paul 'Cleave' Pacman with the only cas for the United side he wasin there laying on the big hits. I have strong beleif that if he can survive what has been so far something of a killer of a season he should go far...
