This match had to be the worst luck I've seen an opponent have when it came to getting and keeping peeps on the field. Bare in mind, this entire game was played in a Blizzard.

Match started out with Volvere down two men and us down one. Handicaps came up giving my best Black Orc (Gobstuf Urtigut) Buzzing and also having Volvere's thrower off the field with It Wasn't Me; putting Volvere down to 11 men. Then the Niggling Injury rolls also ruled two more of Volvere's players out of the game forcing Volvere to use their apothecary before the game's start to be able to field 10 men and keep his best Wardancer in the game.

The game starts and in Turn 1 their Treeman takes root effectively ruling him out (like I'm going close to him), 9 men.

My Turn 1 and Gobstuf Urtigut buzzing away KOs their best Lineman, 8 men.

My Turn 2 and Gobstuf Urtigut still buzzing away Kills Volvere's debuting lineman. RIP, 7 men.

My Turn 3 and Gobstuf Urtigut now with the taste of blood SI's another Lineman straight out of the game, 6 men.

My Turn 7 and Big Ron comes out hitting hard Killing another Lineman, 5 men.

Now you would think that this few men would give me the advantage, but between some snazzy throwing, dodging and seriously high movement Volvere managed to keep the ball, stall and score in Turn 7. We don't know why but Elves always score on us, we are like sluts for them.

Enraged the Narb Revenge came out and were so outraged they managed to completely foul up their chance of tieing the game before the end of the half, Ron being so angry that he wasn't looking and the now mobile Treeman sent him flying of the pitch BH.

Second half started with a good drive by the Narb Revenge straight through the 7 men now aposing them and into the TD zone tieing the game up.

The Narb Revenge then set about the task of bltizing their opponents from the kick off to reclaim the ball the take the lead. Scarsnik Shakgrod sent a catcher straight to the KO box in the first blitz. The rest of the team then continued to pile both on top of the remaining Volvere players and towards the ball carrier.

The Treeman took root again!

Turn 5 and the raging Blizzard tripped over their ball carrer before he could make an all important throw to the waiting Wardancer. The Narb Killaz pounced with Skargrub Rotmek KOing the only defendeder between Ugog Wazbad and the TD line, Dakaug Zodnob swooped in, picked up the ball and threw it to the waiting Ugog who charged for the line with several in support but the dodging abilities and movement of Volvere forced Ugog to score in Turn 7.

Volvere set up with scoring in mind and with movement 10, sprint and sure feet it looked like Alcalad was going to tie the game up as Quick Snap allowed him to walk past the Narb defence but while he could battle Orcs, nature was a different matter and the Blizzard tripped him over on the TD line despite Sure Feet and the ball was loose with only Turn 8 to go.

Andrius deserves a lot of credit for the good humour in which he took his team being slaughtered (in a block sense not play sense); I would have taken 2 deaths and a MNG much worse; and to make it worse he got 0 winnings to even buy new peeps. He actually deserved at least the draw and probably would have won if I hadn't gotten so lucky thinning out his players.

Moral of the story for me to take forward, better to let a niggle stand because worse could happen during the game.
