“Adepts survive bruising encounter.

Gumbeast United came into tonights game hoping to cement their spot in the premier, while the Adepts goal was to stay in the title race. Both teams came out fired up and an entertaining match was the result.

The adepts got the first TD with a slow grind down the middle, then the refs miscalculation on the stopwatch gave United the time it needed to launch a long range effort down the left flank to level up the game at 1 a piece.

The Adepts began the 2nd half with a bang, blitzing the opposition, then calling on Buddah to rain down a ball of fire, this left the door open for Mitra Concentration to pick up the ball, and despite a slight hiccup, when Mr Buffington came calling, Concentration sealed the match by rumbling in the Adepts 2nd, with only a few ticks to spare. Another slow start by the Khemri ended any hopes of a leveller, the game ending 2-1 Adepts.

2pts - Marvin Buffington: This behemoth of a mummy, was everywhere, breaking tackles left right and centre leading the Khemri attack, he also cause a slew of breakes and bruises on soem hapless Hobgobs

1pt - Lefi 'Rabbo' Svensson: No match report is complete without a mention of this wily old veteran. With skills other can only dream of this versatile blitzer was a thorn ion the adpets side all day long.
